What is PRP therapy?

Here’s how it actually works. First, the doctor draws blood from the patient and puts it into a centrifuge, which is a machine that spins the blood to separate it into its different components—red blood cells and plasma. We then extract platelets with highly concentrated amounts of natural growth factors and other cytokines.

Then, the doctor takes the platelet-rich plasma and injects it directly into the patient’s scalp by using a syringe and a thin 30 gauge needle. Platelets are known to contain many growth factors, which can help grow hair back and even produce new hair follicles.

The patient has to receive several injections: once a month for three months, then one time every three to six months for as long as they want to maintain their results.

What is LightStim?

When red light wavelengths between 630-670 nm are absorbed by a hair follicle, they promote collagen production. That collagen helps stimulate hair growth.

Red light therapy or Low Level Light Therapy has been shown to:

  • Stimulating your blood circulation
  • Increasing lymphatic activity to promote drainage of interstitial fluid from your tissues
  • Transporting white blood cells to areas where they’re needed
  • Activating our body’s metabolic processes
  • Generating collagen and Fibroblast production
  • Increasing cellular clean up to reduce inflammation

Red light therapy works best when treatments are received twice per week.

What is Fibroblast?

This uniquely formulated protein used for skin and hair rejuvenation. It contains the world's first authentic, bioidentical, basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF). Basic Fibroblast Growth Factors are a signaling protein and stimulate growth in Fibroblast cells. bFGF regulates a range of various biological functions, including cellular proliferation, survival migration, differentiation as well as the regeneration of tissue including skin and hair follicles.
